I studied graphic design and photography at the West of England College of Art from 1964 to 68 and at Bath Academy of Art. I then practiced as a graphic designer and architectural photographer. I don't have a particular style, being inspired by the landscape of North Cornwall and Wales, sometimes including abandoned industrial buildings. Gestural painting in acrylic and recently oil, trying to capture mood and atmosphere of place, until the 'painting takes over' some compositions evolving by accident.
