Keith Noble

Keith Noble works mainly in watercolour and has great admiration for the skills of Turner and John Singer Sargent. He considers himself a modern traditional painter but strive to put extra impact in my work through use of subject material, working contre-jour and implementing some design element in each painting.   Over the years he has won recognition from some prestigious societies, as well as winning numerous awards. These awards point to another element of Noble’s flexibility – the ability to work just as successfully in oil or watercolour, switching between the two depending on the demands of the particular scene he is painting. Both types of painting are on show here at Workshop Wales.
