Visit the Gallery
We are now closed for the winter months and will be opening again in the spring of 2021, all being well.
In the meantime if you are interested in any of the work online then please get in touch.
Measures will be in place to comply with government guidelines to safeguard the health of our customers. There will be a hand sanitiser station upon entry to the shop, a one way system in place and a restriction on the number of customers permitted at any one time.
We look forward to seeing you.

Please note, the official navigational map opposite, shows Workshop Wales Gallery in the wrong place. The Gallery is actually on the opposite side of the road. Once you have turned off the A487, Fishguard to St Davids Road, The Gallery is the first property on the left hand side, as you turn into the entrance, the driveway spilts into two. Take the right fork which leads you up into the Gallery car park.

Nestled in the heart of the Strumble Head Peninsula, surrounded on one side by the Irish Sea and on the other by the Pembrokeshire National Park, Workshop Wales Gallery is a powerful and moving place to see Art. The Gallery was founded in 1970 by John and Lel Cleal and has been at the forefront of the contemporary Art scene in Wales ever since. John was a well recognised and acclaimed Artist in his own right and set the very high standards that have become synonymous with Workshop Wales.
In 1997 after 26 years of running the business, John and Lel retired leaving the Business to their son Mitchell, also an Artist, who has carried on the tradition of showing highly skilled original works of Art. Throughout the 50 or so years history, the family-run Gallery has been influential in promoting and stimulating the awareness and creativity of Art in Pembrokeshire and beyond.
The Gallery also hosts yearly exhibitions to promote the work of a selected individual Artist, usually for a two-week show between June and September. The rest of the time, there is an ever-changing and exciting mixed show of indoor and outdoor Sculpture, Paintings and Ceramics. Showing an eclectic mix of both 2D and 3D work by over 50 acclaimed Artist's, Craft's people and Ceramicists and situated in it's serene and unique setting, a visit to the Gallery is a feast for the senses.
