Nia MacKeown

A  Pembrokeshire born artist with a passion for painting "en plain air". She spend her childhood growing up in the beautiful Welsh countryside. Nia is lucky enough to be born into a very artistic family, the daughter of established artist James Mackeown, the granddaughter of Martin Mackeown and the great granddaughter if the renewed Irish artist Tom Carr. 

She works mainly in oils, and is currently working entirely from life and enjoys the challenges it brings, often with fluid and vibrant results especially when under time pressures of changing light and weather. 

She recently featured in Leisure Painter magazine June 2019.
