Rosemarie makes quirky original collectable ceramics which make her laugh. She graduated from Glasgow School of Art with first class honours and has sold work, from her studio, in galleries across the UK for many years. ​ She is inspired by ancient pottery often in the form of as animals or people, and maybe used as ritual objects. My pots are often not seriously functional although I always do make them food and dishwasher safe. The lady pots are inspired by fertility goddesses and the bird jugs by the importance of birds as messengers between this world and the next.
