Harriett originally studied Screen-printing at the London College of Printing.  In 2002 she completed the Surface Pattern Design Degree at Swansea College of Art.

Her paintings offer the viewer a window into her life, the images that surrounded her as a child within the spaces she lived. Within theses paintings she presents a new version of her past as well as creating a new life for the objects that connected her to people and places in a different, altered interior.
